As the title eludes to, the main focus of the book is different Apple apps that can assist in connecting course material to students interests. The benefits of utilizing the strategies laid out in the book, or similar, are enormous! When students hake a genuine meaningful connection with the materials that are to be learned, they are more likely to internalize and analyze the information that is presented to them. The deeper level of thinking this app encourages in vital in building on your students creativity and analytical abilities. Connecting the course material to students interests is also beneficial for students with different situations effecting their education. These situations can range from students with ADD to EBD and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Making meaningful connections with the material is vital for the progression of these, and all students. Every educator with access to the technology, and a desire to make the meaningful connections, should read this book and utilize its resources.
